Case studies
Three pools, three different relationships to the GDI methodology.
Sol Strategies has run a tightly-curated, decentralisation-aware validator set for years. GDI's independent methodology surfaces them at #1 with a 4.59 composite — validation of long-standing work, not new behaviour. When the methodology and the operator agree, the methodology gains credibility.
jSOL climbed from 3.28 to 3.82, a +16.6% GDI gain — one of the strongest improvements among the large pools over this window. On a 1.4M-SOL pool, a move that size means a real amount of stake migrating toward rarer countries, cities, and ASNs.
Open-source stake-allocation logic tied directly to the GDI methodology. Every epoch, the optimiser reads live network shares, identifies validators in rarer locations, and rebalances toward them. All on-chain actions are auditable. Result: +19.8% GDI improvement on a 266k-SOL pool in 66 days.
